Reliability Information
1.Quality Assurance System
Fig. 1and Fig. 2 show an overview of the quality assurance system. Fig.1 shows the general quality assurance flow for our products and Fig. 2 shows the flow for IP.Our products are outsourced to other companies for the management of production, delivery , inventory and sales as well as the direct manufacturing of various products. SLI is pioneering initiatives in design and quality assurance through its diverse range of services and products.

- Product planning (Technology Survey/Market Research)
SLI's product planning efforts focus on maintaining a thorough understanding of the ever-changing business requirements of its customers and the marketplace. Standards of performance, reliability, quality, production, and scale are all leveraged in the evaluation and planning process as they relate to engineering, manufacturing (including foundry), reliability and the environment. This stage is referred to within SLI as the "DRO: Product Planning Review". - Development and Design
Once the phases of basic design development are completed, a development and design review is performed. During this stage of the process, the product is reviewed to ensure that it satisfies all design requirements and standards before progressing to the next phase. SLI refers to this review process as the "Individual Design Review". Upon completion of the design phase, the "DR2: Pre-Production Design Review" is performed which includes TEG and pre-production testing. The mask pattern data that is output from the DR2 phase will be used for confirming and evaluating characteristic functionality testing.
Once pre-production models have been evaluated, and the IP and mass production releases have been acquired, the "DR3: IP Release DR/Mass Production DR" are implemented. - Mass production and Quality Assurance
SLI's commitment to the product-life cycle extends beyond mass-production operations through quality assurance and continuous improvement support. Unforeseen issues and impacts are addressed through the Problem Solving Flow illustrated in Figure 3 as evidence of SLI's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Table 1 provides a representation of SLI's reliability evaluation model. The actual process involves the detailed inspection and testing of each device.
